IIZI & Apdrošināšanas Serviss-Brokeri Merge to Create Dynamic Market Leader

The merger of IIZI and Apdrošināšanas Serviss-Brokeri (“ASB”) will create a dynamic market leader in Latvia and will further strengthen IIZI’s overall position as the most innovative, market leading insurance services company in the Baltic states, serving more than 300,000 customers across the region.

The deal combines the best of both companies.  IIZI, who in 2001 was one of the first in Europe to bring internet insurance services to the market and who pioneered various high-volume multi-channel sales solutions through lending institutions and retailers, will benefit from ASB’s outstanding reputation in the Latvian market for high quality corporate sales and services.

Inna Viļenska, Board Member of ASB, adds that the real power of the merger lies in the increased efficiencies and sales potential of the new company in Latvia.  “With the unparalleled IT solutions developed by IIZI, brokers are able to increase sales by at least 30% while reducing the workload by 30%,” says Inna Viļenska, who will be heading IIZI’s service business in Latvia.  “We are looking forward to taking the best solutions and management best practices form both companies and combining them to provide our customers with outstanding, unbeatable service.”

According to Inna Viļenska, the merger will not represent any major changes for customers or employees.  All contracts concluded with ASB and all the rights and obligations arising from such contracts shall remain in force.
