Risto Rossar will be the Chairman of the Management Board of IIZI Group

Starting from 01.05.2009 Risto Rossar, so far Chairman of the Management Board of IIZI Kindlustusmaakler AS Estonia, will be the Chairman of the Management Board of IIZI group, which has in recent years successfully expanded to Latvian, Lithuanian and Finnish markets. The lead of IIZI’s Estonian operations will be taken over by Ando Kivilaid.

Risto Rossar sees his main role as managing the activities of IIZI in all four countries where the group operates, ensuring even greater synergies and the highest quality of services to customers and partners. “We are convinced that in the next few years IIZI will be able to become one of the biggest insurance brokers in each of the countries where we operate" comments Mr. Rossar.

The former member of the supervisory council Ando Kivilaid will take over the responsibilities of the Chairman of the Management Board of IIZI Estonia. Ando Kivilaid has been in charge for the group’s development strategy for eight years and stands behind many strategically important innovative projects and solutions launched by the company.

„My main objective over the next few years is to ensure the high service quality that we are known for and to bring to the market new products and solutions, which are especially useful in current economic situation, where our customers are seeking for possibilities to save costs – this is exactly what our service is aimed at” says Ando Kivilaid

IIZI Estonia has over 242 000 customers, more than 215 000 are individuals and 27 000 are companies. The company employs 93 employees.

IIZI kindlustusmaakler is member of Estonian Insurance Brokers Union and Eubronet – international network of independent insurance broker companies.

There are four insurance broker companies in IIZI Group employing in total 151 employees. Consolidated net sales of IIZI Group in 2008 was 6,1 million euros.
